``Perseverance is Success’’ - bearing the motto, Pabna Cadet college started its normal activities as a complete institution on 07 August 1981. It was firstly a Residential Model School. Mr. Abdul Bashar, the then Principal of Residential Model School, handed over its full control to Mr. Syed Salimullah, Project Director and founder Principal of Pabna Cadet College, on 15 May 1981. The College began to run with a total strength of 170 boys of the former Residential Model School in four classes. At present, we have 314 cadets in six classes.
Aim of Establishment:
a. To provide a sound liberal public school education.
b. To provide elementary military training to Cadets.
Present Aim: To educate and train young Cadets as future leaders, promising professionals and civil/military officers endowed with knowledge, high standard of morality, sense of responsibility and spirit of patriotism.
Objectives : Following objectives are intended to be achieved by this Cadet College :
a. To provide Cadets with liberal quality education upto higher secondary level through a well-planned academic programme enabling them to pursue higher studies in different disciplines.
b . To provide Cadets with essential elementary military training with a view to preparing them for induction into Armed Forces as Officers.
c. To impart complementary knowledge, training and skill necessary for the all-round development of cadets through a package of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
d. To arrange necessary physical training, responsibility, integrity, leadership quality, discipline and patriotism through motivation, counseling, practices and programmed activities.
e. To provide them with training, exercises and instructions to develop a high standard of communicative skill (oral & written), enhancing confidence and individual ability.
f. To educate them on manners, etiquettes and social conducts in conformity with their age level and socio-cultural standard.
Land: Total land area is 38.255 acres.

The following activities are mandatory for cadets:
a. PT for 30 minutes on all days of the week other than the days specified for parade and holidays. SSC
and HSC candidates would be exempted from the same one month prior to the start of their
exams.
b. Parade for 30 minutes on every Saturday and Wednesday except holiday. Principal’s
parade will take place on 1st Saturday of the month. SSC and HSC candidates would be
exempted from it one month prior to the start of exam.
